The pipe is calling!
We go near the roundabout, chuckling cheerfully. And here on the right side there is such a drainage pipe under the Moscow Ring Road 30–40 meters long and about 1.5 meters high. This pipe attracted our attention (actually mine):
- She (the pipe), by my standards, would significantly shorten the way home.
- Tori sniffed toward the pipe, which means she was interested. As it turned out later, Tory would like to avoid the pipe, she honked, and I did not take into account her more competent (due to a subtle scent) opinion.
- The study of new objects, places, impressions, sounds, smells, etc. expands the horizons of the experience of people and animals.
The parent for the child (the owner of the pet) can provide a relatively safe study of various objects and phenomena. For example, Tori and Ajax were very interested in the shufel (big shovel), which the janitor cleaned snow (for puppies it was something unprecedented - an unknown animal in form, in the way of movement, in a scratching-rustling sound). Therefore, when we walked we met a man in the form of a road worker raking snow with a shuffle, Ajax began to show great interest. I lent the shuffle “for a couple of minutes” and brought it to the dogs. Shufel was boldly sniffed and lost his former attractiveness.
The recommendation for parents “hide matches from children” seems to me not useful, but even dangerous. My oldest son, at 1 year and 7 months old, steal boxes and quietly tried to light a match (at this age children and puppies, as I noticed, are repeaters: if parents do something, then they need to).I took him out into the yard, showed me how to light it, how it burns and how to put out it, but I said that you could get burned and it would hurt. He lit and looked fascinated at the fire, until the flame burned his fingers. The son grimaced, released a burning match and dropped it on his dense bike pants. The dying match formed a dark circle on the pants, went out and fell down with a cinder. It’s a matter of seconds, but how many incidents, and how much useful experience in the laboratory and under the supervision of an adult. The son received specific (acceptable) body markers for the words "fire", "hurt." Empty sounds materialized into sensations.
So back to our sheep, that is, to the pipe.
- Well, okay, I confess. The pipe as a tapering space really excited me. This is the subject of my, one might say, phobia, almost panic. And if you are afraid of something panicky, then it is worth exploring, if possible, as closely as possible.
Sister, looking into the pipe, said that she did not want to crawl.
So, I started the passage of "copper pipes", I had to bend my knees.
Tory was categorically against: she spread out like an anti-tank obstacle. For some distance I dragged her on a leash behind me, already starting to cowardly regret what I had done, since a couple of meters under my feet were stones, cones and broken glass. Then for a long time there was just a pipe, so clean, concrete gloomy. Tori followed me calmer, the leash sagging.
I forgot to mention that from the start I discerned something dark at the finish line. The word "corpse" sounded with a particle of "not", since the subject was small and resembled a jacket. As it approached a dark object, the leash was pulled back again, and Tori rested with all four paws and her ten kilograms, dragging behind.
If you clearly set goals and make efforts to achieve them, then you will be recognized as a purposeful person. So, on December 23, 2017 I reached my goal: I reached the finish line.
At the exit, where the light at the end of the tunnel, lay the corpse of a black shaggy dog in a collar, fortunately, at least without signs of vandalism. I could cross the poor fellow, and Tori? In desperation, I looked back with a growing heartbeat, but I did not have the strength to go back and catch up with my sister Ajax.
I pulled 10 kg of negativity towards me, arranged Tori on my bent and went forward, through the corpses to the light.
From the pipe we both came out updated. I was relieved, breathing deeply, squared my shoulders, unfastened my leash. Tory lifted her nose into the air: they say, where is Ajaxik and Katya? Judging by the direction of the nose, she was waiting for their appearance from somewhere above, she ignored the pipe.
I began to move towards my sister and the dog, but Tori did not want to leave the cuvette - she, apparently, had her own spatial vision. However, soon the missing part of our company appeared, and we continued on.
Thus, the walk was a success.
