Sophie's story of salvation
Baby Sophie was discovered in a mountain of garbage. The dog was torn apart. Pieces of torn, festering tissue hung at her mouth. All the muzzle and paws were black with dried blood, which flowed in a stream from an open wound. As it turned out, local flayers threw a firecracker into the mouth of the puppy, somehow fixed it, left it so to wait for the shot. Fun nonhumans could take the dog's life. Either a painful shock, or an infection, or a loss of blood and a bunch of options would definitely kill the animal. Moreover, Sophie’s lifeless body lay even more immobilized - the puppy’s dying mother. Her jaw was also torn from a firecracker. Sophie's mother could not be saved, but fate was more favorable for her child.
An indifferent young man who saw Sophie without hesitation carefully and confidently picked up a dog and rushed off to all the doctors in the city to save the puppy in an extremely serious condition. Endless medical examinations, tests, and finally the doctors came up with a solution: Sophie inserted an external fixation device into her jaw. It was intended to prevent the dog from suffocation with its own flesh and blood, to stop the penetration of blood, bacteria, germs and the huge pus that has formed into the body. The retainer helped preserve some of the dog's tissues that hung carelessly around her jaw, which she could touch, further injuring herself. Sophie ate through the stoma, the wounds were still very festering. And that helped. The fixator was followed by complete cleaning, disinfection of the wounded area, and a number of very complicated complicated operations. Such a atrocity over a dog in the practice of even metropolitan doctors is a terrifying rarity.
As a result of this painstaking and alarming work of the doctors, followed by Sophie’s entire environment with bated breath, caring eyewitnesses of the story, nothing was left of the lower jaw, even though they still preserved a couple of teeth and the root of the tongue of the dog. Sophie had several more tests - plastic of the upper jaw and a long rehabilitation, as a result of which the puppy had to learn to eat, drink on its own again. Sophie was strong. She passed with dignity all this horror that fell on her fragile neck. Hundreds of people responded to the puppy's help and collected more than half a million for treatment.
But Sophie waited a very long time for the very man who would not only participate in her life once, but would always want to help her, because the puppy, of course, needs constant support. Probably, in order to at least somehow atone for her excessively difficult trials, fate tried to make up for Sophie with happy days. The baby acquired a loving family, a warm, well-fed, comfortable home. May each of us learn a lesson from this story. Strength to you, baby Sonya, joyful happy days, because you deserve it!
